If you are anything like me you probably switch out your mobile phone about once a year. I’ll be the first to admit that this process can get quite costly very quickly. And there is also a lot of concern about its impact on the environment. Even though all modern phones are RoHS compliant there is generally still a little heavy metals such as lead used to manufacture the phones, and just look at the plastic case, that is not going away any time soon! I have been recycling my phone batteries for years because I know the lithium introduced into the ecosystem is not good! But there’s not a lot of places I’ve seen where you can recycle you phone.

My wife and I are VERY excited about purchasing our first home! We’ve been looking around for several months, and FINALLY found a cute little home that is our price range, but still big enough to house our small family (barely big enough I might add). We both are extremely excited because of what we found! This cute little house tucked just at the edge of Kansas City with a 0.6 acre lot… well they say a picture is worth a thousand words so why don’t I just show you?

For all of you that thought high quality eyeglasses at low prices was a myth, something similar to but no more real than a Yeti or maybe a Minotaur; you really should read this review from the Liberal Examiner on Zenni Optical. I never really believed that you could get much of anything quality for a discount. Any time you see ads online for “quality” watches at discount prices you can bet it’s cheaply made and nothing like the original. So I guess you could say we’ve all grown a little bit skeptical in our time on this earth, especially when someone starts mixing two seemingly opposites like quality and low prices… I believe in quality, and I believe in low cost… but both at the same time are something of a rarity.

I like anyone am aware of the tragedy that has occurred in Haiti. I wish to do everything I can to help, which unfortunately limits me to sending funds through trusted organizations. Unfortunately some companies wish to prosper from the tragedy in Haiti. This kind of ignorance is intolerable and should be put to an end! The suffering that has been going on in Haiti is terrible and needs to be put to an end, and should be done without the mockery of disgusting businesses who try to prosper from the tragedy by absorbing financial loses with aid money for Haiti.

The New Year has come and gone, the ball has dropped, and Christmas is a fond memory now. Things are calming and slowing down a little bit. It’s time to spend some much needed relaxation time with the ones we love most. Time to focus on closer family members and forget about how hectic the last couple of months have been.

I love watching movies, I have a nice sized collection of movies at home that I like to watch, and occasionally sample movies by downloading them online. My wife and I also spend a lot of time watching shows on Hulu. There’s just something about seeing movies in the theatre though, but it’s so expensive any more my wife and I can’t afford to go as often as we’d like.
